Barstow Community Hospital to Partner with 60 Law Enforcement Agencies
from Across California to Celebrate Healthcare Workers During Annual “Operation Holiday Cheer”

60 Agencies from seven counties to visit 40+ hospitals, travelling more than 28,000 miles to spread holiday cheer

Barstow, CA (December 16, 2025) On December 17, 2025, Barstow Community Hospital will welcome law enforcement agencies from across San Bernardino County as part of the annual “Operation Holiday Cheer,” a festive statewide event honoring the dedication and sacrifice of healthcare workers during the holiday season.

Now in its fifth year, Operation Holiday Cheer has grown to include nearly 60 law enforcement agencies from seven counties across the state—along with Santa Claus and other holiday guests—who visit more than 40 hospitals and cover over 28,000 miles in a single day.

Participating agencies from Sacramento, San Benito, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara counties will gather outside local hospitals, filling parking lots with lights, sirens, and holiday spirit to thank healthcare professionals and bring smiles to patients and staff alike.
